QUEST Vitamins
Quest Vitamins was founded in 1983 and is now the leading UK manufacturer of its own brand of over 100 vitamins, minerals, herbs and other specialised health products. Quest is based at the Aston Science Park in Birmingham and has set many new standards within the specialist health product industry including a patented timed release process for tablets and a method to accurately determine the potency of herb tablets. They also play an active part in nutrition research which, added to the nutrition science studies from around the world, help formulate their advanced potency range of products.

Quest engaged Mike Thomas of HASTAM to give a suitable presentation on the topic in 1999, which was very successful and which has been followed by refresher briefings every two years.
At the 2003 refresher, the concept of SAM (Stop A Moment and think) was introduced. Quest feels this approach will lead to an increased constructive dialogue on health and safety matters: "We are encouraged that there has been a steadily increasing awareness of good health and safety practices since we engaged HASTAM in 1999.`"
