Competence is required at all levels in an organisation to ensure that health and safety is managed effectively and that all personnel can work without unacceptable risk to themselves and others. This is reflected in the range of legal requirements for health and safety training.
HASTAM has developed a systematic approach to identifying training needs which is based on health and safety competences. We can use this approach on your behalf to identify required health and safety competences and make recommendations on how these can best be supplied. Because HASTAM’s approach is based on competences, recommendations are not confined to attendance at conventional health and safety training courses.
HASTAM has considerable experience in delivering competence based health and safety training and in the development of products to help with the provision of health and safety competences.
The majority of HASTAM courses are run on clients’ premises so that practical work can be carried out at locations of relevance to the course members. In addition, the course materials are tailored to individual client’s requirements and produced in the client’s own "livery" when required.
