HASTAMs approach to successful risk management is to work in partnership with its many clients. The formation of such a partnership leads to the cost effective management of health, safety, environmental and other losses as clients are helped to implement the Quest management system - Quality, environment, safety and total loss control.
Developed and refined over many years, HASTAMs approach is embodied in the Quest model as shown below (it's a large image and may take a few moments to load). Quest is a philosophy which encompasses all HASTAMs activities, rather than a specific HASTAM product or service.
Key aspects of the Quest philosophy are
formation of a partnership between HASTAM and its clients development, with the client, of key performance indicators and objectives formal measurement of success and failure.
These lead to the development of a management system in which health, safety and environmental losses are effectively controlled, in-house, as an integral part of good management. Having established management systems for these risks, clients can utilise the Quest system to manage other risks such as poor product or service quality, customer complaints, and staff absenteeism.
