Since graduating in Environmental Science in 1976, Wendy has worked in the field of chemical/environmental consultancy, latterly in a self-employed status, and acting as a consultant to HASTAM since 1990. She became Manager of the Environment Division in 1995.
Wendy has many years experience in the design and implementation of contaminated site investigation work and has project managed several large remediation schemes. She is also a Registered Environmental Auditor (EARA) and has undertaken audits at a variety of sites.
She has worked throughout the UK, France and Germany.
She lectures on contaminated land courses, is a Course Tutor on the NEBOSH Specialist Diploma in Environmental Management course and has co-authored a book on the practical aspects of dealing with contaminated land problems.
