The CHASE Answer-only option

There are many instances when CHASE users wish to have a CHASE evaluation completed by another party, such as a line manager or site supervisor. While it is possible to give this user access to the CHASE program and data, in may cases this is impossible because, for example, the other party does not have adequate networking capability or does not wish to learn to use the full program.
CHASE has an optional add-on which allows users of the full CHASE program to create files containing a single evaluation. There is a charge for this update to the main program to enable these file to created.
These files can be e-mailed to the other party who uses a very simple program, called CHASE Answer, to enter the answers and notes to the evaluation. Once this is complete, the file is returned and imported back into the main CHASE program.
It is also a convenient way of taking a laptop away from the network holding a shared CHASE database and still being able to enter data into an evaluation "off-line".
The CHASE Answer program is very easy to use and the interface is very similar to the question answering window of the full CHASE for Windows program. Users have access to the guidance and can enter notes and recommendations as well as the answer. Navigation is also identical to that in the full program.
It does not support verification or tags, but, if permanent tags are set in the evaluation before it is turned into a file, only the questions selected by the tags are present.
While there is a charge for the update to your main CHASE system to enable it to create and import the standalone evaluation files, the Answer program required to enter data into these files can be downloaded freely from this website.
The downloadable version will only install on Windows 2000, Me, XP, Vista or Windows 7.
